When can I enroll my child?

Complete an Intent to Enroll Form!

West Maple Charter School will host the inaugural enrollment lottery in March 2027, to officially offer classroom seats for the August 2027 school opening. Class sizes are limited to 20 students per room for our opening year. Interested families should add their students’ names to the Intent to Enroll form to be included in the enrollment lottery. Once offered a seat, families will complete a registration packet which enrolls their student(s) for the 2027-2028 school year.

What will be required for enrollment?

Our enrollment zone is determined once we’re authorized as a public charter school. We anticipate that all students who are residents of Carroll County will be eligible to apply to West Maple Charter School. Therefore, proof of residency will be required.

The school will not discriminate on the basis of intellectual or athletic ability, measures of achievement or aptitude, disability, proficiency in English, or any other basis prohibited by law. Students will not be required to complete any test or measure in order to be admitted. Once enrolled and the school year begins, West Maple Charter School students will participate in formative assessments that will inform staff and families of academic strengths and learning gaps.

Enrollment Documentation:

• Birth Certificate or proof of student’s age

• Proof of Residency in Carroll County

Prior to School Year Start:

• Social Security Card or waiver

• Immunization Certificate or waiver

• Vision, Hearing, Dental, Nutrition Screeners

• Completed Enrollment Packet

• (if applicable) Documentation of Medical or Specialized Services
